Starry Night uses your "default Internet browser" to open LiveSky. If you want to use Netscape, you must make it your default browser. Learn how to do this for Macintosh or Windows.

The Digitized Sky Survey option is only available when you have a field of view between about 1.5 arcminutes and 45 arcminutes. If you are between these ranges, a small circle will appear in the bottom left corner of the Field of View display in the Tools Palette, indicating that the Digitized Sky Survey option is available.

This behaviour can occur if there is a file named "SiennaTempFile" in your Starry Night Pro folder. Exit Starry Night, delete this file from your computer, and then run Starry Night again. You should now be able to add images properly to Starry Night.
