Starry Night
Backyard 3.1.2 Release Notes
The following
is a list of Starry Night Backyard bugs which were fixed for version 3.1.2.
If you find that any bugs in this list do not work, or if you discover
any new bugs, please e-mail us at support@starrynight.com.
- A find
for "Bootes" now works.
-
Adding
a "planetoid" using the Orbit Editor no longer crashes Starry Night.
-
Orbital
elements of objects from the "asteroids.txt", "comets.txt" and "satellites.txt"
files are now greyed out in the Orbit Editor.
-
If you
double-click on a satellite in the Planet List that is beneath the
horizon, it now resets the time to the object's transit time, insteads
of 15 minutes after its rise time. This is handy for quick satellites
like the ISS, which is already beneath the horizon 15 minutes after
it rises.
-
If you
add a planetoid using Orbit Editor, default orbital elements format
is no longer AMSAT.
-
Auto-update feature (found in the File->Preferences->Startup menu) now automatically updates comet, asteroid and satellite data.
